YOUR SUPPORT IS NEEDED AND GREATLY APPRECIATED

Without the Mathieson Music School, the current 75 pupils would be condemned to poverty and a life without a future. The school is full, yet there is a long queue of equally needy children waiting for admission. The need for financial support is ongoing: the day-to-day running costs, more dormitories, practice rooms, classrooms and staff are needed before more destitute children can be offered the opportunities the school provides, and extra funds are needed to support the pupils currently studying in schools in England.
HERE ARE WAYS YOU CAN HELP!

• Monthly covenant donations: £10 a month is not much of a sacrifice to many in the West, yet this amount, given by covenant, will pay a substantial part of one child's schooling expenses in Calcutta. Please give if you can. Click here for a covenant donation form.

• One-off gift aid donations : If you prefer giving a one-off lump sum, click here for a one-off donation form.

• Remember The Mathieson Music Trust in your Will: Of course we hope it will be a very long time before we receive your legacy but it does allow us to continue to support the school long into the future. Click here for important information about making a bequest.

• Holding fund-raising events: many supporters have organised concerts and various social events to raise funds for the school. The Mathieson Music Trust will happily help you with these projects. See what others have organised by clicking here.

• Volunteer teaching: Many of the visiting teachers and gap year students are musical, but other talents, such as in art, drama, English, general knowledge etc. are also welcomed and appreciated. Any qualified teachers and gap year students willing to donate their time and skills and travel expenses to go to Kolkata/Calcutta and help out at the school, please apply to the Trust.
